Sonya’s story
- is a one Act opera based on the character of Sonya from Uncle Vanya. Vanya and Astrov also appear and the role of Yelena is played by a dancer. It was premiered in 2010 at the Tete a Tete festival in London. Directed by Sally Burgess and designed by Charles Phu it starred Caryl Hughes and Cozmin Sime.
